What a weekend.

Held at the stunning Winston property in St Leonards, Tasmania, the Elsewhere on Wheels Ladies Dirt Bike Weekend delivered an unforgettable two days of riding, learning, connection and community — and it’s safe to say it exceeded expectations across the board.
​
The demand for this sell out event was clear from the start, 35 riders took to the tracks alongside four incredible coaches — bringing together a mix of abilities from first-time riders through to experienced racers.
​
And that’s exactly what made the weekend so special.
Whether it was building confidence for the first time, refining technique, or simply enjoying the ride with like-minded women, every rider walked away with something valuable. Coaching sessions across both days, led by Jemma Wilson, Kat Kingsley, Naomi Findlay and Elsewhere on Wheels founder Kate Raymond, delivered a supportive, no-pressure environment that allowed everyone to progress at their own pace.

But it wasn’t just about the riding.
​
From fully catered meals and hands-on bike maintenance sessions, to a dedicated massage tent for recovery, demo bikes from Scotts Motorcycles, and hire bikes through Ready 2 Ride Tasmania — every detail was designed to create a premium, inclusive experience. Add in packed gift bags, sponsor giveaways, and plenty of laughs along the way, and the atmosphere was something truly special.
Riders travelled from interstate to be part of it. Friendships were formed. Confidence grew. And the feedback said it all — “above and beyond”, “incredible”, “perfect”, and “do it again” were just some of the words used to describe the weekend.

The event also reached far beyond those in attendance, with strong social media engagement, community sharing, and even national media coverage highlighting the impact of what’s being built here in Tasmania.

This weekend wasn’t just a one-off — it’s the beginning of something bigger.

We’re excited to officially confirm that the next Elsewhere on Wheels Ladies Dirt Bike Weekend is already locked in for 13–15 November 2026 in Tasmania.
If this year is anything to go by, it will be bigger, better, and just as unforgettable.
